Claude Horace Spencer Rennolds of the 3rd Battalion Somerset Light Infantry, who died on this day exactly 100 years ago. Son of William Robert and Ada Ellen Rennolds, of 43 Easton Road, Bristol. Enlisted in August 1914 soon after the outbreak of the war aged only 17 years, medically discharged in 1915 after only a few months home service. His character was listed as Good, and he was entitled to a Silver War Badge.
