Dear All,

I am researching my Great-Grandfather Reg Tollerfield, who served in 11 Sqdn as an observer & aerial gunner.

I have lots of interesting items from him passed to me from my Father.

These include his pilots' license, aerial maps of northern France, a huge number of photographs and several manuscripts, including the account of his battle with Jasta 11, led by Manfred von Richthofen. Other items of interest relate to his personal life, including his death in 1969 in Moscow.

My understanding of some of the terminology is poor, and I would value some support in making sense of this fascinating Man, especially from anyone who anyone who already has some information about him.

He flew with Capt E R Manning & Leiut Savery.

Mel,

Was your Great-Grandfather still serving with 11 Sqn in the period Sept 1918 to July 1919?  If so, he may appear in some photos I have via a relative who also served on the Sqn.

Cheers,
Mark
