Michael Pegum Posted 1 September , 2019 Share Posted 1 September , 2019 In 'WWII today' today (1st September) there is a photo of Sherman tanks passing a "British First World War memorial at Fouilloy during the advance towards Arras". As the photo is copyright protected, I may not show it here. According to the CWGC, the only British graves at Fouilloy are in the communal cemetery, and I can't find this memorial on Google Earth. Can anyone identify it? Michael

Michael Pegum Posted 1 September , 2019 Author Share Posted 1 September , 2019 So it is - and just south of Fouilloy. The tanks were heading north, rather than east as I had assumed.
