A British labour battalion marching along a road near Poperinghe. French and British troops digging trenches together on Pilckem Ridge. The Royal Garrison Artillery at Elverdinghe taking up shells by motor-driven light railway during the Battle of Langemarck. Three cavalry men escorting a captured machine-gun crew who were buried by a shell-explosion in a dug-out, Brielen. Infantry wearing bandoliers of ammunition in support trench at Wieltje. A 9.2-inch howitzer and the gunners of the Royal Garrison Artillery at St. Jean, 19 August 1917.
