Lawryleslie Posted 13 August , 2019 Share Posted 13 August , 2019 He also received the Victory and British War Medals. This would mean he was not posted abroad before 1916. Image taken from ancestry.com.
PRC Posted 13 August , 2019 Share Posted 13 August , 2019 (edited) A.U.O.T.C - Aberdeen University Officer Training Corps. https://www.abdn.ac.uk/special-collections/roll-of-honour/#D As an officer he had to apply for his medals, which according to his Medal Index Card he did in the summer of 1920. As part of the paperwork it was confirmed he landed in France on the 11th September 1918. His contact address was 53 Argyle Place, Aberdeen.
