Guest Posted 11 August , 2019 Share Posted 11 August , 2019 Mate, We get this all the time, having spent a few years (part time), when younger, in the local Volunteer Rural Bush Fire unit. I notice we run in Queensland today around 36,000 Rural Fire Service volunteers, 6000 State Emergency Service volunteers, approximately 2,200 permanent firefighters, more than 2000 auxiliary firefighters and supported by non-operational administrative support staff, Never a dull moment here.
