trench whistle Posted 7 August , 2019 Posted 7 August , 2019 I have been asked if there is a casualty list available for the SMS Emden when it was engaged by HMAS Sydney. Naval matters being outside of the scope of my interest I would not know where to advise looking. Can anyone give me some helpful pointers that I can pass on to my enquirer please. Thank you.

Michael Lowrey Posted 7 August , 2019 Posted 7 August , 2019 A casualty list is here. It includes an officer killed in 1915 and one badly wounded sailor: http://www.denkmalprojekt.org/2018/vl-kleiner-kreuzer-emden.html
trench whistle Posted 8 August , 2019 Author Posted 8 August , 2019 Thank you both for your quick replies. That is excellent and I am sure will be more than enough detail for my enquirers needs. I will pass this information onto her. Thanks again I am sure she'll be delighted!
