Photos of 46 CCS, Mendingham

Hi Everyone

My Grandfather was with 46 CCs from it's start at Mendingham in June 1916 until the German offensive in 1918. I am looking for any photos of that facility and any information that might pertain to it. I have a copy of Surgeon Harvey Cushing's account. Hopefully there are others? Thanks, Jon Gliddon

Welcome to the Forum !

Could I suggest that you try a Belgian website of a Pierre Vandervelden ?

http://www.inmemories.com/Cemeteries/mendinghem.htm

He informs on cemeteries in the area of Proven (may do others too) and may know of the existence of photos such as this CCS.

Also, though no photograph, there may be a CCS diagram and position in the 46 CCS War Diary at Kew, on their Discovery database with reference WO95/417/1 (May 1916 to May 1919).
