Dust Jacket Collector Posted 10 July , 2019 Share Posted 10 July , 2019 Just acquired this interesting and scarce Artillery memoir. F. A. Winder spent 27 months as a Gunner & Bombadier with the 3rd Brigade before being commissioned in the Royal Engineers and ending up as Assistant Divisional Officer for County Mayo. Before the War he was an architect in Sheffield and an experienced mountaineer. Not had time to read it yet but by all accounts an important memoir. Published by Duckworth in 1930.
