Medal roll indicates in F+F with 14th Londons 26/9/14 to 15/7/15. Note he was commissioned later in 1915.

1914 star roll has him commissioned into No2. A. Res. Bde RFA

Seems to be still in army in 1921, A Lt. Philip Mims of Tunbridge Wells aged 30 went from Calcutta to Ceylon in P&O in 1921. Army. Last permanent residence showing as Egypt. But not definitive proof.

There is an hospital admission record for him 9/3/16 to 19 Gen Hospital in Alexandra Egypt - Unit just says "RFA unattached". It is for acute eczema. Discharged 27/3/16 to RFA Details Sidi Bishr.

He also appears on a War Office wounded list on 1/10/18 - indicates abroad
