Remembered Today:

French 'Kepi' Grade and Information

Tomb1302

Recommended Posts

Hello all, another purchase right outside the city of St. Malo. I am led to believe it is a '15 or '16 Officer's (Captain maybe?) Kepi, but, I can't really confirm anywhere.

Can anyone help confirm the grade, any dates, and who would have worn it?

*Excuse the poor photo quality*

Thanks!

Its seems to be Captains kepi and it is different from the 1919 model. So, it seems to be a WW1 Captains Kepi.

Thanks Jools! Do you know of any links of the 24e Regiment d'Infanterie?

There seems to be a french wiki page for it.

Thanks Jools. I was asking more along the lines of the regimental history, but I found it :D

Can anyone else offer insight?
