Remembered Today:

Victor Richardson

Recommended Posts

Remembering Victor Richardson M.C. 4th Battalion Royal Sussex.  Died 9th June 1917.  Lost his sight, his mind and finally his life in loyal service to his country. He was 'Tah' in Vera Brittain's 'Testament of Youth'.  Vera wrote to Edward from Malta “I am broken hearted indeed about Victor. His lovely eyes - I can't bear to think they will never any more look 'right into one's soul' as Mrs Leighton said they did".
