Howard Posted 11 June , 2019 Share Posted 11 June , 2019 You might have some trouble here, in 1915, except for secret editions, most British maps did not show British trenches in much detail. There are not that many secret editions that survived. Other unit diaries may help, some have surviving maps so it would be useful to look at the units who served there before and after your date of interest. This is a 1916 map on which some saps are named but sadly not Dead Man's Sap. You may have to infer between positions if other places are mentioned in the diary. D Vast knowledge - I don't think so! No, I had a search for that sap but nil found. The thick blue line on the map I supplied represents the front line and seems to fit with the coordinates you gave.
