Michael Peck Posted 5 June , 2019 Share Posted 5 June , 2019 Hi Forum, I recently visited Edingthorpe, Norfolk with a view to completing The IWM War Memorials Register entry about the churches Lych Gate, they have a record of the inscription of the gates front but not of its rear. Due to a combination of aged eyesight and God attempting to blow me into the next county, while dumping copious amounts of water on my head I failed. I believe there were (to me) 2 unreadable lines followed by 'Also in honoured memory of John Charles George Spinks, Albert George Harvey, Robert Scott and L Frederick Watts'. If anyone has a record of the definitive inscription and is willing to allow me to use it I should be very grateful. I already have photographs of both sides of the gate. Thanks for any help. Mike.
