I`m also interested in events and accounts concerning September the 9th 1915, when 14. Jägers and Garde-Pioneer Bn attacked using poison gas and flammenwerfers, for the first time in HWK. paul guthrie Posted 27 January , 2005 Share Posted 27 January , 2005 this hill si one of the best WW1 walks of all, lots of trenches, fortifications in the stone, great views, have to go to Italian fronts to beat it including Slovenia, Isonzo as well as above Asiago.
