Tucked away in a corner of Liverpool Street Station is a memorial inscribed :-

"This memorial to the men of Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire who fell in the Great War 1914-19 is erected by the London Society of East Anglians."

Who were the London Society..? Any ideas when erected etc.?

Anglian Lodge No.2920 which was consecrated in June 1902,but is no longer

in existence.Lord Kitchener was a joining member.
