Hello, Im struggling with identifying the manufacturer of the shell on the left in the picture?  Any help much appreciated.  Thanks Alan

Left, The Gramophone Company, Hayes, Middlesex.

 

On the right is Armstrong Whitworth, Elswick Works, Newcastle on Tyne.

Can anyone tell me the maker of this profusely-marked shell that I bought in a junk shop decades ago? I think I can guess the maker of the fuze, but the case itself isn't so obvious.....

COW - Coventry Ordnance Works.

 

And the primer is King's Norton Metal Co., Birmingham.
