Dai Bach y Sowldiwr Posted 25 March , 2019 Share Posted 25 March , 2019 Just a quick note to announce that if anyone is researching an Anglesey soldier of the Great War, the Anglesey Absent Voters List 1918 can now be downloaded either by following the link on the Long Long Trail website: http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/soldiers/how-to-research-a-soldier/finding-soldiers-through-the-1918-absent-voters-lists/ or directly from my website: https://dyfedjames99.wixsite.com/hanes-star/rhestr-etholwyr-absennol-1918 The list contains some 4200 names, and is available FREE OF CHARGE. The original document is held at the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth. 2 Excel Spreadsheets are available, the first sorted by A-Z, the second sorted by Parish. Trying to get Gwynedd FHS to upload the spreadsheet also. (Ts&Cs apply....blah blah.........)
