I am assuming that this man was a prisoner of war and died in a German Hospital in or near to Tourcoing. His Soldiers Effects is undecipherable in the section regarding place of death, there are abbreviations which I do not understand. I also checked the Red Cross POW Archives but cannot find him in there.

Any assistance greatly appreciated

Thank you

I think Soldiers effects records „War Hospital Bavarian (Sanitary) Section 64“ its a bit garbled for sure. Could the next bit be short for Municipal Hospital?
