DOUNE.
WAR MEMORIAL UNVEILED. War memorials to fallen soldiers were unveiled at Buchlyvle and Thornhill, Doune, on Saturday afternoon. The Duke of Montrose performed the unveiling ceremony at Buchlyvie, and the Earl of Moray at Thornhill. In both cases the memorial is a rough-hewn pillar surmounted by a cross.
