Moonraker Posted 19 March , 2019 Share Posted 19 March , 2019 Casually researching Government media information work (with which I was involved for 25 years), I came across 100 Years of Government Information See Chapter One for the Great War period. See also the first pages of Chapter Two about the early postwar years, with the Admiralty and War Office setting up their own press officers after the Air Ministry had done so in 1919 - and also for the discreditation of wartime propaganda, including that concerning the infamous Kadaververwertungsanstalt – a German factory where supposedly corpses were turned into soap.
