Guest Posted 13 March , 2019 Share Posted 13 March , 2019 Hi, Can anyone help to identify the whereabouts of The Maze and the general whereabouts (trench map on Google map would be wonderful) of "no man's land" around Gueudecourt on the 5th and 6th November 1916? Thank you to anyone who can assist. Trevor
ajsmith Posted 13 March , 2019 Share Posted 13 March , 2019 Welcome to the forum Trevor. This is the nearest I can find from December 1916 https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/side-by-side/#zoom=14&lat=50.0625&lon=2.8155&layers=101465182&right=BingHyb. British trenches in blue. I think the Maze refers to the German trenches east of Le Sars though they don't look very maze-like on this map. Tony
