Skipman Posted 22 February , 2019 Share Posted 22 February , 2019 This ought to be available online in 'Digital Content' at the British Library but the link is not working. I have emailed them and await a response. Officers died in the Great War 1914-18 Mike
keithmroberts Posted 22 February , 2019 Share Posted 22 February , 2019 Not sure about that Mike - looking at that and other related entries, I suspect that the absence of a GO button means that the item is not available in digital form. Happy to be proved wrong, but that is the way I read the entries, with digital content as one option that applies to some material only, but that appears as an option within the catalogue - their equivalent of an unticked box. Terry_Reeves Posted 22 February , 2019 Share Posted 22 February , 2019 Officers Died is included in Soldiers Died on Ancestry. TR
Skipman Posted 22 February , 2019 Author Share Posted 22 February , 2019 Ah, I think you are both correct. I see it now. Either it's vague or I am? Don't answer that. Mike
MaureenE Posted 22 February , 2019 Share Posted 22 February , 2019 I have, in the past, accessed Officers Died as a British Library digital book. The catalogue is showing me a link to the digital book, the problem is that the link is not working. As Terry said, it is available on Ancestry. It is also on findmypast. tootrock Posted 22 February , 2019 Share Posted 22 February , 2019 (edited) If you try the British Library link mentioned in post #1 above you currently get the following message: "System Problem Sorry - the content you requested cannot be delivered at this time. Some problems are resolved automatically, so please wait a short time and then try again. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience."
