All I had was a couple of photos and (recently requested and received) his service record from theM.O.D. Last week I found his War diary. I was curious. 1, whether this part of the forum is the appropriate place to post it ? And 2, would anybody be interested in reading it ?? regards Richard I perhaps should add that he had not volunteered for ‘Empire /Overseas Service’ and so the diary relates to ‘ Home service’.
