Paperwork with medals?? New post

Was any formal paperwork sent with medals to an individual .  I am not referring to prosaic office letters saying herewith, please sign receipt and return but something similar to that seen in WW2 (examples attached).  I have found one example to the relative of a man who did not survive but find nothing else.

Thank you Uncle George, I am familiar with that paperwork . My apologies, I should have made it clear I was referring to men who survived.
