Guest birdflightless Posted 21 January , 2005 Share Posted 21 January , 2005 Hi Jamie, The only info I have is from Squadron Histories, by Peter Lewis (Putnam). "Formed 1 Sept. 1915, at Netheravon. Later to Filton, then to France 23 Jan. 1916, as first unit with F.E.2b, G-100 Elephant. Aug 1916, R.E.7 (one 3-seater). 7 Jan. 1917, V.C. won by Sgt. T, Mottershead. 1917, F.E.2d. Sept. 1917, F2b. Oct. 1918, fighter-bomber unitat Moislains. March 1919, to India". I am sure others will be able to help further. Regards Stewart

Dolphin Posted 27 January , 2005 Share Posted 27 January , 2005 Jamie For reasons that escape me, I missed one Order of Battle: 21 March 1918, in the 11th (Army) Wing of II Brigade, equipped with Bristol Fighters, commanded by Maj E H Johnson, based at Ste Marie-Cappel.
