Somme Walks with Holts tours

Im planning to book a "Somme Walks" with Holts tours, 20 - 23 August.

This is my first tour, something I've been wanting to do for a few years.

Any pals been on this or a similar tour before? any advice would be appreciated.

I belong to the Western Front Association - as you may know this is a national charitable organisation with branches throughout the UK and further afield. Some of the branches - like the one I belong to in Worcestershire, arrange tours to the Front annually.

We are going to French Flanders - based in Bethune - in late September 2005 for 5 days. We take non members with us as friends of members, so it might be possible for you to find a similar WFA tour in your area.

Just go to the main Western Front Association site and look at "Branches" - we also have a 4 monthly magazine called "Stand To" and another 4 monthly publication called "The Bulletin" - which covers branch news - free if you join.
