Snowyred Posted 6 January , 2019 Share Posted 6 January , 2019 Out of interest, when the new recruits go through their initial medical / measurements was it done slap happy due to the volume of recruits. I ask this because on the recruitment posters for the RND it states you have to be between 18 and 38, 5 ft 3 and a half with a chest of 34 inches and funny enough that's exactly the measurements on my persons record card, even though in reality he was a much taller man. Has anyone come across this and was this common practice.
michaeldr Posted 6 January , 2019 Share Posted 6 January , 2019 How old was he? If his medical was at age 18, then surely he could still have grown after that
Snowyred Posted 6 January , 2019 Author Share Posted 6 January , 2019 He was one month off his 18th, as he joined under age, just felt it was a coincidence that the measurements were exactly the same as what was required
