Marat, 4th Cdn/M.G.C. 965 Dominion inscribed on rim the War medal has 2115204 Pte. W.C. Marat 44 Can. Inf. inscribed on rim the Victory Medal has 2115204 Pte. W.C. Marat 44 Can. Inf. 965 Dominion inscribed on rim I have searched for the 965 Dominion meaning but have found nothing to explain it, I have not seen this on any other medals I have viewed also would any one know why it is inscribed on the MM/Victory and not on the War Medal thanks regards Bob R. robins2 Posted 17 December , 2018 Author Share Posted 17 December , 2018 the 965 Dominion lettering is consistent with the rest of the lettering, it is possible he had it added, the medals have been anodized and have new ribbons attached, strange though it only appears on the 2 medals and not on the War medal, they could be replacement medals???? good spot on the address thanks for your reply regards Bob R.
