Could someone please pinpoint where the 1st Reserve Battalion of the Royal Naval Division were between the 1st and 14th of May 1915, during the Gallipoli Campaign. Thanks

1st Reserve Battalion RND did not form until after the division had left for Gallipoli. It does not appear to have formed by mid-March 1915 but  is confirmed at Blandford Camp from at latest mid-June. The battalion's first CO was appointed to the RND in mid- March 1915 so that is probably the formation date. The battalion remained at Blandford Camp throughout the Gallipoli campaign. Later in the war 1st Res, Bn. was re-named 'A' Res. Bn. and remained naval, while 1st Res. Marine Bn. took the number.
