Does anyone know what the postnominals C.A.V.C.T stand for, as they appear in the document in post#5 of this thread?

Presumably something to do with the VTC, or is that too obvious?

The letters refer to the Central Association of Volunteer Training Corps, which presumably he represented, rather than being post-nominal in the accepted sense.

(I had wondered if it was actually two sets and that he was a CA, but from the address it is more likely that he was a lawyer.)
