D J Brown Posted 11 November , 2018 Share Posted 11 November , 2018 Really proud of my home city Ripon this year remembering and honouring the end of the Great War. Over 50,000 poppies hand knitted cover all the streets, bunting along the shops, silhouette soldiers planted on old WW1 locations around the city and the Cathedral light show which projected the names and photos of Ripon men from WW1 as well as other images and poems. Attached are photos if anyone is interested...
Pighills Posted 11 November , 2018 Share Posted 11 November , 2018 You missed the horse and soldier in the field next to the bridge, just down from the clock tower.

Hi. I’ve got pics/seen them all. Just haven’t posted them all on here as it takes ages to upload. Cheers though! Dave
Pighills Posted 11 November , 2018 Share Posted 11 November , 2018 Ah, that’s a shame. The horse silhouette is particularly lovely, and different to others seen across the country.
