Remembered Today:

Last battles of WW1

My grandfather fell at Sebourg and was buried in Valenciennes. I wish to take family members there shortly, but I know nothing about what his regiment was doing and their role at the end of WW1. My grandfather was Pte George James Birchall (515281) B Coy 14th Bn London Regiment (London Scottish). If anyone can throw light on what was happening at the time, I would be most grateful.

Grahame,

If you Goggle   Long Long Trail London Scottish, this will give you an overview on the regiment and it's movements.

Mike.
