I’m hoping someone can help me with this please. I’m trying to find out where 41 TS were based in 1917 and what aircraft were used. I’ve checked ‘Airmen died in the war’ and rather surprisingly there appear to be no fatalities recorded so no means of checking details of planes flown.

Thanks in anticipation

Alec

Hi

I believe it was at Doncaster in 1917.

According to " RAF Flying Training and Support Units since 1912 " by Ray Sturtivant it had the following aircraft :-

Shorthorn ( A7035 )

Longhorn ( A4075 )

Caudron GIII ( A1899 )

Pup ( A7311 )

JN4 ( B1934 )
