Tank production in the Black Country

Does anyone have any information on tank production in the Black Country. I read recently that the Accles and Pollocks Broadwell Works in Oldbury produced tanks, but I’m sure there must have been tanks produced elsewhere in the Black Country.

Thanks

I've also heard that a WW1 tank was exhibited for some time somewhere in Wednesbury. I'm sure I've seen a photo. This might have had something to do with the fact that tanks were manufactured there.

Thanks

Ray

I cannot find it but I think a Pal previously posted photographs of tanks being built somewhere in the Black Country, probably Tipton. Might be worth trying a search.
