Remembered Today:

Where is this German Cemetery?

I have just come across this photo on-line.

Some of the men buried here are were killed in early June, 1918 and are now buried in the German Military Cemetery at Proyart.

Can anyone tell me where this original cemetery was? I suspect it is not at the same location as today as the two soldiers who I know were orginally buried side by side are now some distance apart in the current cemetery.

If it relevant, the two soldiers were both 165 RIR.

I would say it's probably Marcelcave, there was a German cemetery near the roadfork NW of the French Cemetery in Marcelcave (Cimetière National des Buttes) when RIR 265 was engaged in this sector in 1918.
