Umeu Posted 20 October , 2018 Share Posted 20 October , 2018 Hey all, I have a question. I've read that Petain made his Verdun HQ at Souilly. But he was promoted out of command in May. Did Nivelle keep his HQ in the same place? Or did he move it? I'm asking because it was apparently closer to the front than most generals were comfortable with.
