brimacombe Posted 11 October , 2018 Share Posted 11 October , 2018 Hi all! Really hoping someone might be able to help me with this one. I'm putting together some biographical details on a soldier for a colleague of mine. The individual, Pte W H Fry was with 10 Black Watch (amongst 90 replacements - many from the NDH - who arrived in October 1916) and was wounded on 8/9 May 1917. Alhough the Black Watch history "A History of the Black Watch, Royal Highlanders, in the Great War, Vol III" is available online at HERE however, page 238 an 239 - detailing the some of the action on 8/9 May are, frustratingly, missing! I'd be really grateful if a forum pal might be able to help by providing the details of the last part of the action. Thanks as always Shawn
