World War 1 Victory Medal
Inscription reads s-13257 PTE W W Edwards Seaforth.
Owner happy to return it to family.

You may already have spotted these but here is a W.Edwards Private Seaforth Highlanders on the National roll for the Great War

 

Volunteered October 1915, drafted in Jan 1916 to Mesopotamia, took part in action to capture Kut, 1917 to India a d was engaged in Poona, Bangalore and other stations on Garrison duties, demob, Nov 1919, states general service medals and victory medals.

Address 125, Jersey Street, Ancoats, Manchester, England

   
 

There is also a Medal Index card and service medal roll for a William W Edwards S-13257

Private 7th bn Seaforth 

British war medal and Victory medal.
