This one *I think*  says:

Andänken an die Weltkrieg am 21/1 1917 und hoffen uns im heuriger Jahr noch den erseheten (Frieden? Freuden?) das wir zu unser lieben wider (köhren?) können.

Eduard Sprenger

Souvenir of the World War 21.1.1917, and hope that in this current year we will experience the much-longed-for joy of seeing our loved ones again.

Eduard Sprenger

I'm not familiar with the word "köhren". ( dict.cc says it has something to with a studfarm ).

And for Frieden (peace) maybe he meant to write Freuden (joy)?

wieder köhren = wiederkehren = come back/return

Aaaah! Yes, now I see it too. Thanks! If you read it out loud it does make sense.

I think I see at the top a name something like "(....) Franz Grausam"?

And "Lehrkomp. V  (B......) ".  And something (Depot......) Abteilung?

They look Austro-Hungarian?

Linksoben Fritz Cramer ?  (Top left Fritz Cramer)

And the remaining card of the set (of the couple): the inscription looks like a score-card or something, first name of the four is Adolf.

Yep, Austro-Hungarian. I believe they are officers but the Austro-Hungarian collar tabs are difficult to differentiate. But they do have sword knots.
