stevej60 Posted 20 September , 2018 Share Posted 20 September , 2018 Hi Folk's,trying to find out a bit of info for a fellow rootschat member on Cpl T.W.Livermore killed on 23/8/1917,I've posted a question in soldier's relating to the man but noticed a fair few casualties for the Battalion on that particular day could anyone shed light on the battalion's position or action they were involved in at the time. This post discusses 10/DLI's perceptions that the German Flammenwerfer troops who counter-attacked them were expecting them to run away and when the DLI did not, how the enemy morale seemed to fail ... I'm sure Andy and I have posted even more of the 10/DLI Operational Report on this action elsewhere on the Forum, but so far 30 mins of hunting has failed to turn it up!
