Hi all,

I am seeking any extra information of 8802 Private John LANNON, Leinster regiment.

I know he was a career soldier, enlisted well before WW1. He landed in France with the 1st battalion December 1915. But Star roll shows that he deserted 17th August 1915 and also Medal Index Card shows that no medals due to that.

is there any extra information available in respect of him and his service? Also what happened with him - is there police notes or court martial materials available in respect of him (Fold3?).

Thanking you in advance,
