An obituary in today's Tottygraph drew my attention to 2/Lt Edgar Marsden Kermode, DSO, MC*, DCM, who died (aged 22) 100 years ago today. Robert ('Old Owl') posted in THIS THREAD (post 19) in 2012.

According to CWGC, Kermode was serving with the 2/5th West Yorks at the time of his death (62nd Division).

I just felt we should remember such a brave man.
