Hi, Can anyone confirm if the Serbian emblem pictured is official? Thanks

I don't believe so.  The medal statute only allows for the 2 palms and 3 stars, which usually are seen on the ribbon and indicate the level at which the award was made.

Thanks for your reply. I have only ever seen two other Croix De Guerre's with this emblem on. If added was it a way of showing that the person the medal was awarded too wanted to show he served in Salonika.

The metal doesn't look as old as the Croix de Guerre.

There was a very large contingent of French troops in Salonika, this maybe how the recipient let the population know that is where he was awarded his CdG.
