trishedst Posted 14 June , 2018 Author Share Posted 14 June , 2018 museumtom you did it again made my day, Thomas's son Christopher served with the 2nd battalion RIF during WW1 but I wasn't 100% sure not having a service record for him, his MIC and SWB records told me Christopher attested to the army in 1911 in Quetta, India, aged 15, his Father at the rank of Sergeant was serving in the 2nd battalion RIF in Quetta in 1911, the 2nd battalion RIF as part of the 27th Division moved from France to Saloncia at the end 1915, seeing Salonica in your caption proves I was right, so thanks again, if there is anything I can do for you research wise or while I'm at the Front let me know.
