MikeyH Posted 1 June , 2018 Share Posted 1 June , 2018 This nicely made miniature 'kukri', is as can be seen inscribed 'Salonica 1916-19'. Made of brass and around 2-5/8"/67mm overall, the hilt is layered brass, copper, steel and some form of red stone. The Gurkha's were certainly active in this theatre of war, has anyone seen one previously? It was found in a box of odds at an antiques fair, was black with age, and had probably not been cleaned since it was made. Mike. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
