Thought I'd share a few pics of the Webley MK6, spotted on a previous thread.

Not pristine but broad arrow stamped everywhere, manufactured in 1916, with what I believe to be a period lanyard...an iconic piece of Great War history. Deactivated in 2010 so not to current Europe spec...shame, I'll have to keep it then🙂.

Very nice, and as you say iconic.

Are the grips wooden or rubber?

Hello JMB, you're more than welcome.

 

The grips are a black/dark brown composite, as was first used. The only thing that was replaced was the sight plate which is just part of its history. Seen plenty of use, as with most of these large frame revolvers, but still matching serial numbers of 199822.
