He was born in 1882 and educated at Clifton College, and commissioned from Durham University Officers Training Corps into the 2/7 Bn West Riding Regiment early in 1915. MIC France 18.10.17 applied for medals 19.3.23. address The Queensborough Motor Co Ltd., Bolton Street, Blackpool, South Shore. Probate granted 30.4.31 to bank and wife. 24 Berwick Road, South Shore, Blackpool. 1919 electoral register listed as Lieut. ASC 4th Army Siege Park, Exchange Buildings, Lombard St, Newcastle upon Tyne. Related to Edwin Eshelby Shaw records on Ancestry?? The Inspector Posted 14 May , 2018 Share Posted 14 May , 2018 (edited) Hi Ron All information from Ancestry, no special interests other than searching. 1911 census Botham Hall, first address on Mic Father George William a stockbroker, shows 3 daughters and a son but married 14 yrs 1 child, 1 living. So probably second marriage, Charlotte Allson mother in law present. 4 servants. 15 rooms.
