We went about 2 weeks ago, and well worth it too.

Just a little moan (not about the poppy's). Each time I go to Fort Nelson, I get very frustrated that the Royal Armouries do not make use of the best asset they have there. THE BUILDING ITSELF!

Yes i know its ' not about the building, its about the artillery pieces'. But, if they were serious about income generation, which they keep banging on about, then surely they would do well to utilise the amazing location and make it possible to see the incredible panoromic views, instead of roping off more and more areas.

just my opinion of course, rant over.
