After having discussed the question with the boyfriend (who has no leave), it has been decided that a few days roaming the Western Front museum and sights with the camera is exactly what is needed to fight the post-cucumber stress syndrome that we have after four months in this hellhole!! SO... somewhere around the 11th or 12th June, I'll pack the Tank, firmly fix the Bear on my backpack and make a move towards the front. Planned are: Notre Dame de Lorette, La Targette, Bullecourt, the new Thiepval museum, Delville Wood, Mametz Wood, Villers-Bretonneux and Tank Deborah in Cambrai... expecting four days. If you have any other suggestions, I'll be happy to hear them... Pictures and stories will of course be posted on a regular basis... and if anybody's around... let's meet for a coffee???? Pass on my best to Belgium's most famous marching bear too. I'll look forward to the pictures; I must go back to Notre Dame de Lorette sometime soon to look up my boys on the Artois Memorial. .....
